Progressive Horsemanship Program
Horse trails of Wesley Woods' countryside give a real appreciation for God's wonderful creation. First time campers learn to care for their pony or their horses and how to ride. All campers progress through skill levels as they learn basics, and move on to more advanced riding challenges. Campers live in cabins and eat family style in the dining hall. They become a Christian community as they spend time with counselors and each other. Making time for Bible study, prayer, singing, and worship is always important at Wesley Woods. Horse events nurture campers in special ways that lead to spiritual growth.
Starting this year all ribbon winners will be invited back to compete in a Wesley Woods Horse Show!

Carrie Swanson, past Program Staff will be deaning this camp. Carrie comes from Warren, PA and has plenty of experience dealing with children. The Junior Pony camp is designed for the younger riders to get the basics. Campers will experience caring for and riding their pony along with many other activities. |
