Join us on Easter Sunday at 6:30am in the Chapel here at Wesley Woods for our annual Easter Sunrise Service. This is a great chance to connect with others, connect with God, and enjoy God’s creation with a sunrise as the background for worship.

About our speaker:

Our speaker is Rev. Stacy Allan Shaffer. He currently serves as the Pastor of Clarendon Trinity United Methodist Church. Rev. Shaffer also serves as the Chaplaincy Program Director for the PA Dept. Of Corrections at SCI Forest in Marienville, and is the current President for the Pennsylvania Prison Chaplains Association.

He has an extensive background in Ministry as he has served for the past 25 years in several Warren County Churches and was the previous Head Chaplain for the Warren County Prison. He’s served on several Ministry Boards and is Ordained through the Mission Covenant Church Great Lakes Conference.

Rev. Shaffer is in the process of returning back to his United Methodist roots by transferring his credentials to the Western Pa United Methodist Church Kane District and will be entering licensing school in the fall of 2024. Rev Shaffer and his wife Holly reside in Warren with their youngest daughter Olivia who will graduate High School this spring. Rev. Shaffer and his wife Holly also have a daughter Chloe who graduates from Mercyhurst this Spring.

Rev. Shaffer feels it is his reasonable service to do all that he can do with what he has been given from the one who died for him.
