We’re thrilled that you’re considering volunteering with us this summer! Below is the information you need to get started:

Our volunteer registration is live- from there you’ll be able to log in again to upload your clearances list on the right side of this page.

‍Clearances are good for 5 years and are free for volunteers. If you have them for work and they are within the last 5 years you may submit those. If you believe you have submitted them to us before, please email office@wesleywoods.com and we’ll be in contact.

First-time volunteers will need to submit an application, references, and an acknowledgment of receipt for our Safe Sanctuary policies. You can access these forms and upload clearances after filling out your volunteer application at the button below.

Clearances that you need to complete:

PA Child Abuse Clearance
Volunteers are free but you must create an account and submit and then upload the results in your portal. https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home

‍PA Criminal History Clearance
Volunteers are free, submit and upload us the certificate when finished: https://epatch.pa.gov/home

‍Mandated Reporter
This course, or an equivalent, must be completed prior to your week at camp. When completed. you can submit the certificate you receive at the end. Create an account and you can stop along the way to finish over different days.  https://www.reportabusepa.pitt.edu/

FBI Fingerprinting
For volunteers that have lived outside of PA within the last 10 years you need to submit your FBI fingerprinting which is done through https://www.identogo.com/ create an account and find a location near you. You must sign up ahead of time and go to the location to be fingerprinted. Wesley Woods requires the results of the fingerprinting.
